I need help (but you Knew that, didn't you..). I am at the point of
determining steering wheel size for my little british car. I am severely
hampered by a lack of room , so I really could use a small diameter
steering wheel, ala 12 inch diameter. What are the current thoughts on
steering wheel size? A large wheel reduces the force needed to turn the
wheel and minimizes jerkyness (darting) but a small wheel gives quicker
control but at a larger force to turn. It would seem that as one is lightly
dancing down the track that only small forces are needed so a small wheel
would be ok. But turning that sucker on the asphalt or salt while
stationary might be a problem? What is the concensus? Small or large? I
only want to purchase this 19 dollar wheel once...
