I have received info from someone who should know that the red =
=E2=80=9C4000=E2=80=9D was based on a 100-Six chassis and =
=E2=80=9Crestored=E2=80=9D by two people in England, started by one now =
deceased and finished by another whose name I don=E2=80=99t have =
permission to release. The UK registration was PSY 630. The car was =
sold by the finisher to Holland. The finisher always maintained it was =
a replica. My informant saw it several times during its construction.

Just to veer this thread off slightly, wasn't Alan Casavant planning on =
establishing a Healey museum somewhere in VA (VIR, maybe?) before =
divorce reared its ugly head (coincidence. maybe not). Does anyone =
recall what cars he had actually purchased? I faintly recall his =
negotiating with Bill Wood. Perhaps he ended up with the 100 display =
chassis? Bill also wanted to establish a Healey Museum at Lime Rock, =
but IIRC, he couldn't get Skip Barber to go along with it. These are =
all recollections of a 73 year-old man and may be subject to memory =
lapses and interpretation.

them for red and did have this style dash . Not commenting on the =

Alan Hendrix had the car at shop for long periods and he could shed one =
light . The black 4000 is in Vreeland in the museum I saw in last year =
and Alan=E2=80=99s was white. I have photo of me in it somewhere .=20
