I do not know what is the best trickle charger. There are plenty of
makes and types about for all kinds of money. I use one of the CTEK
trickle chargers (cost me less that $20 at the time). The ($50) battery
in my Jensen-Healey was replaced in 2008 and is still in perfect
condition. Whenever the car is in the garage for longer than a few days
it is connented up to the CTEK.
