Congratulations on finding them.

Several years back I misplaced both keys to my 2007 Tundra and had to spend
$700.00 (after first having the truck flat-bedded into the dealership) for
the system to be reset, or something like that.  It was an outrageous
expense but numerous independent locksmiths in the area verified that the
manufacturers have somehow prevented them from doing this job.  Needless to
say, one of the original keys turned up about a month later....
