If a snap is installed on the front of that =E2=80=98little sliver of =
carpet=E2=80=99 then there is no problem. We always cut out around the =

I did likewise, but this method kind of negates the =
pull-the-carpet-when-it-gets-wet theorem. I agree with John,though, that =
if one did cut the carpet the slivers of carpet left would flop around =
and soon tear off.=20

I installed mine on top of the carpet which I believe to be correct. If =

Another seat question. By BT7 did not have seat belts when originally =
built. I have purchased the hardware but don't know if the door side =
seat belt anchor is on top of the carpet or if the carpet trimmed around =

There should be both a wood strip and a metal plate. I decided to glue =
my carpet to my sound/heat material feeling it would shield against wet =
carpets rusting my floorboards and trans tunnel . I could not get the =
snaps to pull the carpet down smoothly and it just looked terrible. The =
factory would have cut the carpet around the metal and wood, so you =
could remove your carpet to dry it out when it got wet. Much cheaper =
than actually working to keep the cars from leaking in the rain.\:)
