I used the flat area that runs down the center of the trunk floor, =
between the two raised areas, as a reference. That flat area is =
4-1/2=E2=80=9D wide. The center line of the striker plate=E2=80=99s =
angled support is 3-1/4=E2=80=9D in from the left edge of the flat area, =
and 1-1/4=E2=80=9D in from the right edge.

Subject: [Healeys] Measurement Please
Can someone lift the trunk lid on their 100 and measure the distances =
either side of the center support that the striker plate is bolted to? =
Just the center of the upright support to outer hoop edges would be =
fine. The knucklehead that did my body work thought it should be =
perfectly centered and welded it there. Now the striker plate is =
nowhere near the latch mechanism on the trunk lid and I have to make a =
plate that bolts to the center support to relocate the striker plate. =
Thanks.
