Thanks for all the advice.
I hadn't actually realized that my 3000 had one, albeit a bit crude.
(Surprise!)
I get the impression that a new version ie All Singing, All Dancing, isn't
really necessary for my car. I seldom wind it up and even when going
quick(ish) a longer diff and OD ratio helps.
I think I'll leave it for now. One day perhaps..when I HAVE to remove the
radiator and grill etc.
