Mel,
Lowering the car will reduce the suspension travel and reduce the road
clearance for little change in handling. One option is to reduce the camber
on the leaf springs. This method eliminates the need for spacers and special
U-bolts. Most heavy duty truck suspension shops can change the spring
camber.
