Good info Curt, this is such a great list. I was going to Star for the rebuild
and thought it would be better if I went with the replacement parts in hand. I
need both ends but the car is nowhere near 100 points so anything close will
look OK. I am about to get all over e-bay with the info you have provided. Much
thanks to all who responded to my request.
Thanks you guysRay Juncal

The number cast into the bracket ear on the back of bracket 239266 is 239013
(go figure?).? These typically ALL have the brass oiler on them, and the later
brackets on BN2s do not. But this is not a big deal, as I prefer the ones with
the bushing oiler.
These typically run $45 to $65 on eBay.? None listed right now but be patient.
The front bracket is "Bracket or frame, drive end" and is Lucas part no.
239012. These are a bit harder to find.
Also, have you tried the good folks at Star Auto Electric in Los Angeles?? They
should be able to fix you up.

These generator end plates are quite common and I've purchased plenty of them
NOS off of eBay over the years.
You're specifically looking for a "Bracket or frame, commutator end" or try
this in an eBay search "Lucas generator commutator end plate or bracket"? NOS
good, as I find these for sale quite often.
The Lucas part no. for a 22456A/D or a 22383A/B/D generator is 239266.
