2nd Try -
I have Dunlop 185 VR 15 tires on my 1964 Phase 1 BJ8 & they fit well with no
rubbing. I believe they are slightly larger O.D. than the original tires which
I prefer because that very slightly increases the round clearance & decreases
the RPM at a given speed.

Subject: [Healeys] Phase 1 BJ8 Tire Size Question
Can I run 185 series Michelins or Vredstiens on a 1964 PH1 BJ8?
I ran them on my 1965 PH2 BJ8 with no issues, but the suspension is lower on
the earlier cars.
