This is what I did , used two 2 1/4?OD washers 7/8?ID (might be able to find
with smaller ID) then tack welded two smaller washers to bring the ID down to
size .Mounted these big washers back to back as in the picture . Drilled and
tapped a 1/4? hole to screw the coil brkt into , large washer is quite thick to
allow for a few fine threads .
Converting from the generator to an alternator.
Does anyone have any good suggestions and/or pictures on how to mount the
coil?
