Shoes sold now days are all new material. If the steel shoe is manufactured a
bit out of original specs the lining material would have to be adjusted to get
the required max diameter to fit in the drum.
Too large a shoe means thinner lining. If anyone needs original shoes to
reline I have a bunch.

I just received an order from Moss which included front and rear brake shoes
because they were on sale and I actually needed them for the restoration.Â
What puzzles me is the fact the front shoe lining is thinner than the rear shoe
lining. It is actually half as thick! Am I missing something here?
