Dave, My tap works fine because I rebuilt it. Plugs might be hard to find. I bought a couple from a company called The Olander Company Inc. I was told it was 1/4b British pipe thread (.529 / 18) for my radiator. However, I am leery about trying it because it does not seem to be a good fit on the treads of the valve.
