Jim, Healeys were not built by "model year", which (I believe) is a concept
used primarily by U.S. automakers. The separate turn signal/parking
indicators for BJ8s was a change based on body number (not "model year") and
occurred at body 76138. BMIHT records that body number as being assigned
both to HBJ8/31336 (built March 1965) and HBJ8L/31259 (built 1 - 2 April
1965). Either way, it was possible that a car bought new in June '65 had
the separate indicators.
