Back in 1985 when I bought my BJ8, there was a convertible one of these for
sale sitting in the Safeway parking lot in Walnut Creek, CA. It was in
nice shape, no rust, and was just out there for a couple weeks. He was
asking $30,000 for it. I couldn't afford it then .... :( . I think they
had only ever imported 15 convertibles into the US or something like that.
Very rare. The engine was something to see, never saw so many spark plugs
before!
