Can anyone comment on why the factory was so skimpy with material for
the 6 cylinder roadster pouches. When I restored my black BT7 I bought
one from Moss and wondered why they didn't make it bigger for the side
curtains to fit into it better and be able to be snapped closed easier.
Then I bought an earlier BT7 with 13,000 some odd miles on it and the
original pouch. It turned out that Moss' reproduction was the same size
as the original. Are we supposed to remove the brackets from the side
curtains each time they are put away or what? It is already time
consuming enough to get the hood up and side curtains on the doors when
it begins to rain. The shower would be in the next state by the time I
could get the side curtains on if I had to also put the brackets back on.
What the heck was the factory thinking?
Thanks.
