After almost 2 years of ownership, I've begun fiddling with the BN4. When I
removed the radiator, I discovered an oil cooler and associated oil lines
running to the filter assembly, early '70's vintage for sure since the plate
is "New Mexico '72". I am going to remove this system and return to the
original configuration.
