Hi Gergo,
I do not know of any fitting instruction for an early BN4 hood (top). The only
I know is
http://www.healey6.com/Technical/Werner/BJ8%20Top%20Installation%20Instructio
ns.pdf,
But that`s for a BJ7/BJ8 hood, which is quite different. Think to get it
really right as original, you need to buy a prefabricated cover and to fiddle
it out. But don`t know of a company I can recommend, perhaps "Robbins" . I
would have friends around with BN4s to ask and who would borrow me their hoods
to take measurements.

Hi Josef,
Wise advice, just to add I did two hoods myself, only on a Midget and a
Sprite. I have succeeded with thoose to a good standard. My main problem here
is, that I have got no sample with my car. No old frame, hood, fastners.
Nothing.
I have collected the parts, but need some advice if possible. How to set the
frame first? How long are the straps of the frame? Where to start fitting the
hood? How to start fitting the wood frame? What is the sequence of the
finisher/wood/hood etc.
Just in case if any of You have some time and/or know a website where it is
covered in detailes.

Hi Gergo,
Only my 2cents. Let it done by a professional trimmer. When you have already
done one, you can do it by your own. Otherwise I think the result is not
really satisfying.

Greetings Friends,
Is there any good hood fitting guide on the net? I have collected the parts,
but feel a fit low on knowledge.
