Neils, I noticed on your original email that the car had done a lot of short trips over quite a while, then a good 350 mile trip was done and you suddenly notice a drop in the oil level. This can usually be caused by condensation building up with all the short trips, then a good long run of 350 miles got rid of all the condensation at once, lowering your oil level. I would not be alarmed about this sudden drop in the oil level, but continue to monitor it. Rich |
