With such loads you need a vertical load of 50-75kg on the tow bar (75kg is often the max. permissible for a normal car) and at least 3,5bar in the tires. If things go wrong the only thing you can do is brake hard to increase the load on the tow bar and to get below the critical speed for the combination.
