Rick, you may be just kidding about this.... but the balance tube size is
matched to the size of the three manifold vacuum tube mounting outlets... 1"
for the larger and 3/4" for the earlier smaller version... changing the vacuum
tube without changing the three manifold tube mounting outlets most likely
wouldn't make any difference.... that is if the change from 3/4" to 1"
actually had much affect anyway... except the resulting vacuum tube envy
issues.
