Another good view is the picture in row 9, first column. It shows the fitting
in the fuel line at the forward float bowl.

It looks like the pressure tap for the "fuel pressure" gauge. If you look at
the picture in the center column in the 8th row counting top to bottom, you'll
see the small diameter copper tube is soldered into a metal fitting in the
fuel supply line at the forward carb. I first thought it was for vacuum too,
but wondered why it was routed so far forward. A second look shows what looks
like a small rubber hose attached to the rear most 90' elbow on the balance
tube (picture 8 & 9 in the first column, use the closeup feature) for the
vacuum gauge.
