Hi, Niels -
The rivets have a threaded shank and can be removed like a screw.
File or grind a flat on top of the rivet and then cut a slot in it for a
screwdriver. A Dremel tool works well for this. Mine turned out rather
easily, but if they are stubborn use a penetrating oil, a little patience,
and perhaps an impact screwdriver.
