This is a very good alternative on no longer available steel items like
bumpers that have been welded. It is very difficult to get them
absolutely straight and ripple free. Using fillers followed by this
chrome paint makes it much easier and the result is surprisingly good.
Also very suitable for pitted mazac from door handles, rear light
covers, mascots etc. The pitted areas can be cleaned filled and sanded
smooth followed by the chrome paint. One of our club members did this on
his Jensen 541 and you cannot see the difference. It is only on the
touch that you can distinguish it. Real chrome feels cool, chrome paint
is warmer to the touch.
