Hi Patrick

Not a good trip for the BN3.

Does the engine still go?

Will it drive?

If the crankshaft is broken generally with a six cylinder it breaks just
in front of the flywheel. The engine still goes but the car will not.
The flywheel is just sitting inside the bell housing either on or off
the input shaft to the gearbox.

I hope this is not the correct diagnosis.

regards

John
