Richard,
The boot support rod usually has a slight bend in it halfway along its
length to take care of this. A slight tweaking for more angle as needed will
usually do the trick.

the best Michelin 175 in the boot. It wouldn't fit. It keeps knocking the

support out of its capture. I was thinking of making the wood block a
