Maybe not surefire, but I've heard spreading fresh coffee works. Just
sprinkle it on the carpet, don't ever get it wet, let it sit for a while and
then vacuum it out. Don't think I'd try it with white carpet, but dark colors
should be fine. And when you're done, you can brew up a batch of gasoline
charged Joe!
