The oil pressure in my 59 BT7 is below standard due, I just discovered, to
the stripped banjo bolt on the 4th (from the front) rocker arm pedestal.
The oil spurts out from the top of the pedestal quite vigorously. Short of
purchasing a new pedestal and bush and rebuilding the entire arm, are there
any other fixes?
Thanks,
Larry Swift

Subject: [Healeys] pressure relief valve
I seem to remember that there are 2 different oil pressure relief valves
available. They are different in their profile on the bullet end of the
piston
with one having a shoulder and not being a smooth taper. Fitting the wrong
one
will change the pressure at which oil is by passed. Is that correct?
