Guess that's why my BN7 440 built in 1959 doesn't have one. I put dynamat
under my carpet which seems to work OK.

You probably didn't see any mounting studs under your floor because Healeys
were originally shield-less until the introduction of the Mark II model in
March of 1961, at Chassis No.13,751. The BN 7 model ran till Mar.'62.
