[Healeys] BJ8 1967 color of convertible top bows?

Hello Folks,

    Thanks for everyone's help on the convertible top drain hose locations and
location of convertible top spring ends.

    I am now moving onto the convertible top. The bows I have are painted
gray. Where they always gray? I have seen black ones on BJ8's but can't tell
if the paint is original.
I am going with a black convertible top.
