[Healeys] switch to alternator

I often hear reliability as one reason to switch to an alternator. I replaced 
the 
alternator in my wife's Buick three times in seven years but the original 
generator 
in the BJ8 I bought in 1967 is still going strong.  The one in my '67 Jag 3.8S 
also.
