G'day
This Healey Abbot came up on eBay about 12 months back and sold for
around US$8,000. It was being sold by someone in the UK, but the car was
located in Israel. A friend just missed by a whisker to a US buyer.
This is the second time back on eBay since then. No doubt the US seller
is trying to recoup his $$$$.
Any restoration of a coachbuilt car is only for the dedicated enthusiast
and I would suspect that it's a far more work than the seller makes out.
However is you're a real enthusiast of Donald Healey Motor Company
vehicles it's worth thinking about.
