Hi Gary,
Thanks. I have about 1.5 inches of free play in my wheel .. and a bit of
wander depending upon surface (and tire pressure) .... I feel I am correcting
quite a bit through the looseness of the box .. not sure if this will help or
not .. My bushings are all good, as well as the rod ends .. it is a box thing
in my case.
I hate to throw good money away if this is not the ticket ...

Yes, I did. It is hard to say how much, if any, improvement it made because I
rebuilt the entire front suspension, so every thing is either new or rebushed.
Obviously, the steering is much improved now, but there is still some free
play in the steering wheel, which I was hoping would be gone. Two other
friends have also rebuilt there steering recently, one also used the Denis
Welch products. I would say that the Denis Welch product results in a slightly
more precise feel, but it does not transform the feel into a rack & pinion.

Out of curiosity, has anyone out there up-rated their steering worm and peg
to
the Denis Welch products. I am planning this as a winter project.
Thanks.
