Tom: It's not just the government that does these things. Big corporations
can be just as guilty.
I received a check from AT&T for an 'account credit balance refund' in the
amount of $0.01. ONE CENT. No doubt the cost of doing that has caused my
(our) telephone bill to be increased.
Hey! A penny is a penny. I took the check to the bank and cashed it.
(That was last August when gasoline wasn't so expensive) ;-)
