i have found that just putting a new seal in does not work most of the time. the problem is that the steering shaft has a small groove worn where the seal rubs. it may not go all the way round the shaft, but it causes the new seal to start leaking. i have removed the rocker shaft and polished it up with fine sandpaper and crocus cloth and it seems to have helped in most cases. hjim _______________________________________________ Support Team.Net http://www.team.net/donate.html Healeys@autox.team.net http://autox.team.net/mailman/listinfo/healeys http://www.team.net/archive |
