Yes, Sid, such products do exist. 3 spray cans: one with a solvent to clean
the part, one with a red penetrating liquid that is sprayed on the subject
after cleaning, and one with a white substance that dries up as a powder and
pulls up the red ink from the cracks, showing them quite clearly. One thing:
the subject has to be cleaned very thoroughly as there may not be any grease
etc be left in the possible cracks. It's a bit primitive, and I wouldn't
trust a 'safe' outcome 100%, but I would definitely be glad if a nice red
crack shows up in the white stuff!
