Ron,

It had been engaging slowly for about a month or so I
thought that I would attack the problem this Winter.
But then I noticed that the Brake master cylinder
needed to be replaced. Following that operation, I
road tested the car and during a short drive (25
miles) the overdrive would not engage. It worked once
or twice on the drive and then not again. All of the
electrical stuff works and the ball in the operating
valve is lifted when the overdrive switch is thrown.
