There ARE exceptions in the Healey concours world. If a person fits a set of
brand-new 165x15 radials to his concours car, and then drives it a reasonable
distance to the meet, he gets bonus points exactly equal to the standard
deduction he takes for the non-original spec tires. On the other hand, he
also
will get full points if he fits brand-new (and perfectly roadworthy) Dunlop
Roadspeed tires to the car and trailers his car to the meet where it's judged.
Just wanted to make sure that was understood.
