Hi list,
Tracy is right - BMC factory 're-conditioned' engines were painted gold
and were called 'Gold Seal' engines. As a Brit, I remeber them well as
a kid. They were bored, new pistons rings, oil pump, valves - the full
works, and were guaranteed as a new engine.
