Hi Carl,

Go to a paint store & ask them for a paint can lid remover. It has a
good handle & a very short hook on the end. Polish any sharp edges off
the hook. Slip the hook into the rubber groove, pull the rubber back &
work the lens into the groove as you go around the lens. Then do the
same with the chrome ring.
