Michael,
OK, I'll call when I get a chance. I'm skeptical, because everything
I've heard/read says the API-SM spec requires the reduced Zn and
P levels, and the case of VR1 I just bought definitely says "SM." It
also indicates the oil is suitable for passenger cars.
I think the "SM" should be "S&M," given the grief this has caused
us old car owners.
