Do you have any more info available on this? I was thinking of
doing this in reverse, moving the center shift of a Smitty/Toyota
installation to the side shift location on a BN-2 so the conversion
would not be obvious. I have seen a similar set-up on an early
Fiat/Siatas trans. However it was all on the center line and was used
to move the shift lever farther back over the tail shaft.
