Another thing to watch out for with the foil backing on dynamat - the
edges can slice your hands pretty good.  Be careful.  Wear mechanics
gloves.

Dynamat or the Spaceage foiled back insulation from Pep Boys or other
suppliers. That would be in the same area as there after market
carpeting.
Just watch out that you don't short out any of your trany switches on
the foil backing.  :(
