I know "horns" have been discussed several times through out the years but my
question has to do with the connections to the horns.
I have the original Lucas disc type horns that came on my BT7 but have know
idea what the connectors to the horns look like.
There are 2 holes on each horn that appear to be where the connections should
be made but I have no idea what the connectors should look like that go in
these holes or if the connectors have broken off the horns long ago.
Unfortunately the horn wiring was by passed before I owned the car and the
original connectors were cut off and the wires were just spliced together.
I would like to reuse these classic units and if I can be lucky enough to just
tweak the adjusting screws to kick them back to life, its worth a try. I
have all the "Horn rebuilding info" off the list but the frigin "cheesy head"
screws are not budging at the moment, as expected ,so a tweak here or there on
the adjusting screws ,to renew life, would be an easy thing to do.
Any pictures/explanations out there on what these connectors/connections
should look like would be greatly appreciated.
