Simca started in 1934 building Fiats in license. Their first own model
was the Simca Aronde, built between 1951 and 1962, followed by the Simca
1000 (very funny looking, like 2 boxes put on top of each other, but a
rally winner everywhere), then the Simca 1100, then from 1963 onwards
the Simca 1300/1500, followed by the 1301/1501, then Chrysler jumped in
and built the Chrysler-Simca 1307/1308 from 1976 onwards.
