I've got the Smiths heater from my BJ8 apart on the bench, and I'd like the benefit of your collective experience with one last dismantling detail. How does one release the control valve where it goes through the sheet metal top of the box? Is it soldered in there? I guess I should call it the control valve connection, because the valve itself is easy to remove by undoing two machine screws. Suggestions? thanks, Stephen, BJ8 |
