OMIGOD I delivered the Oakland Tribune in my home town of Alameda, Calif
(not CA is it is now called) while in the 7th and 8th grade when it was a
great paper owned by the Knowland family. (early 50's) Sick as I am, still
remember the number of my paper route and can remember throwing a paper
against a window and almost breaking it - the window not the paper.

Yes, hopefully one of these days a newspaper publisher in America will
realize there is a reason The Sun has very good circulation numbers despite
the collapse of print media in an internet age! Page 3 could, in honest
reality, save the Oakland Tribune!
