Just got my 1956 BN2 back on the road, after about 6 months of not running.
And I had forgot about the never ending cooling problems I have had in the
past.
Where do I start? New radiator cap? The one have now says 7 LBS but I don't
know if is the right one. How about a new 5 blade Fan? The one on the car
now is the original 4 blade. And finally what about the 12 volt fan kit in
front
of the radiator.
I think the radiator itself is OK, but not sure.
I just got back from a test drive and sure got antsy at some long stop
lights as I watched the temp gauge head for 100 degrees( Celsius). It always
drops tho as I speed up and go thru the gears.
