The current replacement heater hose grommets offered in the AH Spares (and
probably others) grommet sets admittedly have a different cross section than
the originals but are .750" inside diameter. The commonly available heater
hose noted below that has an o.d. of .770" will fit through the
aforementioned grommet if wetted with a bit of silicone spray. Prefit the
grommet to the bulkhead hole, spray the silicone on the hose and push the
hose through the grommet. The white lettering appearing on the heater hose
will wipe off with a bit of varsol on a rag.

Meanwhile if anybody knows of a sorce of the truly correct original
grommets, please let me know.

Rich Chrysler
