BN1 Front Lighting Harness

The BN1 headlight and parking light wires provided by British Wiring seem to
be much too long - more than twice what would seem needed. Could someone
tell me the correct lengths for these from the light fixture to the bullet
connector that attaches it to the harness? Also, how are the parking light
wires routed to keep them away from the front wheels?
